Beth Williams is a native of Lexington, NC, and currently resides in Tucson, AZ. She currently is the principal of Leman Virtual Academy. She holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Curriculum & Instruction and the other in Educational Leadership, both from Winthrop University.
Beth has taught grades 2-8 and EL students in K-8. She has also been an adjunct instructor for Winthrop University, both virtual and in person, and has been the district EL coordinator for Lancaster School District in Lancaster, SC.
She has presented at local, regional and national level conferences on various teaching and learning strategies. She has been honored by being named her school’s teacher of the year, by Winthrop University as a Mentor Teacher of the year, and was South Carolina’s Palmetto Social Studies teacher of the year. She was most recently honored as one of the “Best of the Northwest” school leaders in Tucson, AZ.
